Thanks for all the imput I got from my previous post. I am going to put in the type R tranny next week, my minds made up. Some people were talking about the final drive ratio from the 98 spec R. I don't have enough cash for that right at the moment, but I will definatly feel the better throttle response with the stock 97 ITR LSD tranny even though the final drive ratio of 4.40 is the same as the final drive on the GSR tranny????

 

i just put a type r tranny in my gsr and i love it. i also put in a Toda 8.5lb flywheel & an ACT 6 puck clutch. the car takes off so much quicker & i love it. this is my first step into building up my car to run 13's
