V2 AEM intake

Default V2 AEM intake

anyone have it, what are the improvements on horsepower for having one of these bad boyz????

do they make them for the CRX (90 si)? I dont think they do but from what i hear they make good power... AEM R&D better get to work for the rex's of the world!

I looked @ the V2s power band and then looked @ the original one. The V2 has a Ton more dips in the powerband vs. the original one.

i hope they make it for the CRX soon, cause i dont know if i wanna go NA or Turbo..... if i go Na ill def get the V2.........

no they dont make one for the crx but u can relocate your battery to the back and by the intake for a civic 92-95 and it will work

i bought the original AEM CAI for my teg over the new V2...they didnt sell me on the dumb idea...IMO they are trying to hard to improve something that worked fine for what it was

I'm really not too impressed with the V2 design. There is no transition from the small to large diameter. The small diameter just ends abruptly in the larger tube, with no radius between them. With that design, airflow would become turbulent at the end the the smaller tube.

They say that the turbulent air is supposed to force more air into the manifold... if my psychology degree is reading the tech info right lol
