O2 sensor voltages....
ok, so here is the deal... I got a new O2 sensor because I had a heated o2 sensor cel, but when I put the new o2 sensor in, it would blow the ecu fuse. So I think when I was extending the wires for the o2 sensor I mis-matched one or something. so I just need to know what the voltages should be for the 4 wire o2 so I can just connect the correct wires. Thanks!
your gonna be hard pressed to find that kind of specific answer in here, my first question would be why did you have to cut/ extend any of the wires, i would start there and make sure you did it right. i had to replace my O2 sensor when i put my header in. i bought mine from nopionline. just compare your old one with your new one, if your blowing a fuse and had a problem with the original 02 circuit then i would check all your wires might be more complicated than just a bad sensor and make sure you got the right replacement sensor
sorry about not giving all the info... I have a 93 JDM H22a in my civic hatch, so I had to switch the connector and extend the wires. everything else is fine in the swap, just one stupid o2 sensor issue.
if you you did a swap into a civic you need to use the 02 sesor that has the correct connector in the first place. i think thats why your cooking your fuse. triple check your wiring, and worst case buy a stock snesor for what ever ecu your using
you porb. know this but the 4 wires are:
1 +12v (heater)
2 gnd (heater)
3 O2 Signal out
4 gnd (signal)
sorry I can't tell ya what collor each wire is
