Default B16A CRX hesitation problem..HELP!

OK here is the deal...I've had the swap done for almost 8 months now and everything has been great..
However recently I have noticed a hesitation when I am slowly accelerating in any gear...but when I give it more gas, the car accelerates normally..WTF?
I thought it was ignition, so I did a MSD 6A with coil and cap...still there. Then, I changed the wires and plugs, still there.
Then, when I put my ITR intake manifold on, with a new IAC valve, it still did it.
Then I changed my o2 sensor, still there.
I checked the resistance on my injectors, and they check out ok..
The only thing I haven't changed yet is the fuel pump/regulator...
Also I have an Autometer A/F guage and I have noticed when the car hesitates, the A/F guage goes a bit lean then back to rich, lean then back to rich every time it hesitates.
When I give it more throttle, the guage is pinned full rich, and the hesitation goes away.
HELP!
Jay

Can you say detination, you are not getting enough fuel. Are you running a reprogrammed ECU? If so you probably have a bad fuel curve.

I disagree w/ all the other replies, it's not detonation. My car does this same thing... there was a long running thread on it a while back. No fix as of yet, but you might want to check your camshaft timing. I believe elusiveracing23 (on this board) fixed the problem by installing adjustable camshaft sprockets and zeroing the cams... until the sprockets started slipping and it came back.

I just replaced my timing belt with a new Acura part and I haven't experienced the problem since... but I've only driven it for 1 day since then, and I'm already in such a habit of pressing the gas on and off (you'll find it doesn't hesitate if you do this ) that I might not have been testing it fully. When I get my car running again I'll let you know .

P.S. Oh yeah, it's not compression; I did a compression test and ran 220-235 across the board...
