anyone have anything weird happen with their speedometer?
i cranked my car up the other day and the speedometer pegged out while i was cranking the car up. it's the first and only time i've noticed it happen. just wondering if anyone knows what might cause this? '92 Si w/ 5spd.

Mine does it every once in awhile. It'll actually drop all the way down to zero while I'm cruising at 50. Then it comes right back. It's pretty unconsistent, so my guess it's some kind of loose connection.

Had a friend recently come to me with the same problem jz described. Replaced the speedo sensor on the tranny problem solved.
