More impressive? All motor VS Forced induction
Cant decide what do once the warranty on my engine runs up...
Do you like the sounds of a spooling turbo or sc?
or do you like the sounds of 10000 rpm on tap??

FWIW, this question is not going to yield the desired results of what you are looking for. People in here are not interested in that sort of thing.
for example, nawz ownz you.

Its not that people are not intrested, its that, most people do not want to address open ended questions, such as the one that was tabled by this thread...
Not to mention, the search feature, which I find works well, if used.
Thats just my .02$

If you are doing it to be kewl then be a all motor ****.
If you are trying to go fast then go turbo.
If you don't want to spend alot of money then leave your car stock and enjoy it.

That depends on what you're looking for and how fast you want to go. You can go fast all motor, but IMO you reach the point of diminishing returns too quickly. Your basic all motor setup with cams, valve springs and couple of bolt ons can get you to 190-200whp pretty easily but after that you're talking money.
Bolt on a turbo kit and you can see 260-300whp for under 3 grand. Build the engine and 400 or more whp is easily attainable.
You need to ask yourself how much money you want to spend and how fast you want to go and how streetable you want it to be. The farther you go in hp the less streetable any car becomes, some people here may say that's BS to which my response would be the each person has a different level of tolerance to a noisy race gas special with a rough suspension.

OK on a serious tip, I just want to further add that if you are going to boost, do it right the first time and dont kill your motor with too much boost. All motor setups can be trickier IMO. You could spend 10,000 on parts, and they might not work together and you will still be under 200whp. All motor setups are picky and some parts just dont work well with others.
EDIT: 13 secs is pretty easy with a few bolt on parts.

well.. you can hit 13's with mid 170' - 180whp will get you there for sure..
with boost you're looking at low 220 and up - easily depending on boost level.
average turbo setup (6-8psi with good standalone) shows mid to high 200's. you won't get that with all motor as it tops out at 240-250whp, you need extensive work to match that.
when its time to upgrade, you have better options with turbo, you can go as high as you want.

yea gotta remember 13's here is like 12 second at a lower elevation(like california), so i am a full second slower than most of you guys.
so far i got a AEM CAI and a APEXI VAFC(neither installed due to snowing here), need an exhaust though, are the t1r's still recalled?

How high is the altitude where you live? I live at 5800 feet above sea level and I can say from experience that the only way anyone will ever see 13's out of Honda with full interior up here is to go turbo or nitrous.

I don't necessarily agree with the premise that all motor is the way to go to be 'cool'.
Where do you want to be fast? Around town? Drag? road couse? combo of the three? If you are aiming at 1/4 mile times, really low 1/4 mile times, turbo I say. Good arguments can go both ways, it is a matter of personal preference.
Personally I'd rather build up an NA engine.
But ultimately, I guess, if you want to go REALLY fast, big turbo, lots of tuning, lots of money.
Check out zyg/zygspeed's car for big crazy turbo and (hopefully) big crazy hp/tq numbers.

i was torn up with this same question but when i saw that video of a PY ITR with 402 whp on the dyno and hearing the turbo spool up i was sold. Plus its a more "cost effective" way to go.

my elevation is similar to Colorado's..

Fight fire with fire, get a mustang too. Hahah j/k. If you really want to be fast, get a turbo. Turbo benefits more in higher elevations, and its cooler where you live.
Yep turbos are a pretty good eqaulizer up in the nosebleeds of the country.
I see you're in HB, what part? I grew up there, went to Marina HS class of 89.

that would suck to be a second slower car just because of elevation.
