can a b16 stock rods survive 9.5k rpm?
I tested my car today it has type r valves, valve springs, pistons and a stock cam and rods. We installed a spoon ecu and my foot really got heavy and I think revd past 9k for several occasions can I damage my engine doing this?

Your foot got really heavy because of Spoon ECU install? That cant be good.

The rods are pretty good, the only thing that might need to be added is some ARP rod bolts. But they can handle 9k rpm from what I've seen and heard. There isn't really a reason to rev that high with those cams, but do what you want. I don't think R valve springs can handle 9.5k rpm...I've been told that 9k is no problem with them, but not to go higher.
I agree with the rods being able to handle 9k with arp rod bolts. As fat as the valve springs, I dont know about that, so I wont say anything.

actually, b16a rods are very stalky and beefy... i believe import builders keeps them in their built engines because of their strength... ive revved mine to like 8k max because seeing what you guys do to your engines on here freaks me out... but hey a buddy of mine revvs his to around 9 all the time..( its gonna break anytime now trust me)
oh yeah, without cams its really pointless, and you loose power to go that high...

going to 9k is pretty pointless b/c there's really no power. it will go there though. my friend has an internally stock b16 and shifts @8k anytime he races. he has gone to 9-9.5k on accident. i.e. missed a shift or lost track of rpms during burnout. everything was fine. we will be adjusting his valve lash next weekend before the track to make sure if he goes that high, it will help prevent valve float.
i take my b16 to 8500 all the time, gone to 9200 rev limiter only by accident, if you do it too much yea you'll wreck somthing , but a few miss shifts shouldn't hurt
i thought that was what the rev limiter was for........
if your not using it your not driving your car.
i would not worry about it......
