Default anybody else in NJ hate the insurance rates?

Just curious as to what you guys are paying a year for your type r. I live in NJ and the rates on my Gs-R went from 2812 to 4123 with Liberty Mutual. Cant imigine what some of the rates for the R's go for. Anybody know of any other insurance companys ?

I pay $2,900 for 00R and 94 Tercel beater. I am over 30yrs old and its a Japanese Insurance company because I work for a Japanese Major company. Before all this, I was on a black list 3yrs ago due to insurance pts over 9pts ( I think I had 14pts) and was thrown into a JUNK ins. company assign by the state paying over $7K!!

Good Luck.

although they might raise insurance across entire state for whatever reason. you rate depends a lot on zipcode you live in. Some insurance companies, if not all of them, break zipcodes into zones.. rate may not improve much simly cause of the area you live in.

I read a post once where a dude went to go insure his Type R, but the insurance company didn't give an Integra "Type R" as an option, it wasn't in their system. So they asked him what options the car has, he said it doesn't have a sunroof, so he got charged the rate for an Integra RS! I believe he lived in Canada, though.
