My brother has a 90 hatch with a B16a swap and he is needing a new clutch. His tranny is a cable tranny so I don't really know what I need to look for. Whats a good clutch and how do I look up the car.(example: 90 civic , del sol, etc..).
from my knowledge you get a clutch for a 90-91 integra LS....in my opinion i would go with a clutch masters... but youwill get allkinds of brands thrownat you...do a lttle research...i wouldnt go with a high stage unless he has lots of mods such as a built engine or forced induction...stage 1 or 2....just my opinion though
when I ordered a CM for my b16 ef, the shop I ordered it from said CM makes a cable clutch for the b16's...any truth to this? (the clutch is in and works fine)

It's pretty much identical to the Integra clutch, so who's to say which they made it for first? As long as the '90-'91 Integra clutch works, who really cares

ACT heavy duty PP with a OE 90 Integra disk. Grabed like a ****. I could even bark 3rd sometimes.
But like Phat_Optimo said, break the clutch in properly. I did with mine, and it never slipped.
