Default Help with a few things (cd player related)

I recently bought some gauges. There are 3 in a row mounted on a peice of aluminum.

I wanted to put them right under my cd player (i have a 99 civic ex coupe), the gauges dont fit, but its very close. If I could just get that pocket out there it would be a perfect fit. I have tried but it seems stuck, and when I do remove this, will my cd player stay in its location? or is the pocket underneath it holding it up?

My question is: How do I get this pocket out? Does it pop out or do I have to unscrew something?

And another quick question to save me from posting again: I want to mount a camera in my car to tape me driving and whatnot, and to be able to put in my friends cars. I have seen bars that you attach to your headrest, then mount the camera, but I have never seen them for sale anywhere.

Anyone know where I can find this camera mount?

Thanks in advance for the help

Can't really help you with the camera thing but i can tell you how to get the pocket out.
To get the pocket out:
Remove the three screws underneath the drivers side panel under the steering wheel, unplug the sunroof, mirror, fog light wires.
open the glove box and push sides in to get past the stoppers
remove the 1 10mm bold from the bottom right side of the CENTER panel (with the outlet in it) and remove the screw from the upper right hand side of the CENTER panel
remove the 2 screws from under the center panel just about the outlet
remove the 2 screws from the upper and lower left hand corners of the CENTER panel.
remove the center panel and unplug the outlet harness from the outlet
look in the back of the center part of the dash for a light blue plug and a brown plus right next to each other and unplug each, look up underneath dash under the radio/pocket and remove the 4 screws securing the metal bracket of the heater control/radio assembly from the dash supports and gently pry around the outside of the heater/radion assembly, the ENTIRE piece comes out from the dashall the way down to that blue and brown plug u disconnected, unclip the radio harness and antenna, unclip any other remain harness and you can see out to take out the pocket from there ... YES the entire assembly will come out. install in the reverse order making sure to plug everything back in. NEVER UNPLUG ANY PLUG THAT IS YELLOW OR WRAPPED IN YELLOW TAPE!! They are AIRBAG WIRES.
Any questions let me know ... good luck ... it really isnt that hard to do ... sounds worse than it is.
