Default Mannix ALarm

I am thinking about getting a Mannix alarm. It is aobut 150 shipped. Anyone heard of these things and how well they work? I also have another question. Hooking up of and aftermarket Horn/speaker is required. I looked under the hood of my car, and I can't find ANY room to mount it. Everything under hood is stock except CAI. Anyone can post a picture of their setup for after market horns/speaker?

theres room on the firewall and behind the driver side headlight (you'll probably have to remove when changing a light bulb tho). I'm assumeing you have a DC2 Integra by your Username. You should either tell people what car this is for or have that info in your signiture as you Username doesn't mean much.

Like I said, buy the viper alarm system. It turns off your ignition so our car wont start when a key is not used

That is where I put mine.

It's sorta loud, but I just ordered 2 more sirens and a 1 more shock senor.

The 2 other sirents are going to be placed 1 under my glove box and other in the rear hatch. Shock sensor is going in the rear under some panels.

To me these days, a alarm just unlocks and locks my doors for me. Other than that... for a Integra like ours... you need to take other measures to protect it. A Viper alarm should not cost $400. I think you can get a pretty decent alarm for $200.

No kidding. purchase something from http://www.glock.com lol

I have a Viper 550 ESP. Retail is like 150 bux on that thing. If you are good with splicing wires. Anyone can install that thing. IM me if you need wiring layouts and ****.

I just plan to make a **** load of noise when my alarm goes off. Like try to attract as much attention as I can. I'll have three 115db sirens in my car, So hopefully it'll be loud as **** and detur any theft.

what alarm engages when you walk about 25ft away from the car and disengages when you come within 25 ft of car?

Like locks itself for you automatically when you leave it and walking away 25ft?

I've never heard of such. Sounds like a potential for car jacking.

Damn...

that doesn't seem like a bad deal for under 100 bux.

I say get it and get some other shock sensors and sirens and you'll be set.
