Acura is going to repaint my front and rear bumper
You guys probably want to know about this. The paint on my front and rear bumper is not only thin (you can actually see the black under it), but also not matching the paint on the rest of the car (have a different tint of yellow). Even though I know most PY ITR have the same problem, I brought it up to the dealer and talked with one of its big man (i think he is the district manager). He's quite easy and agreed to repaint my bumpers under warranty.
Good to know snowman; on my last PY I had the same issue, but my new one isn't too the point where it needs to be redone yet.
Did the district manager give a reason as to why it is covered under warrenty? Might be helpful for other PY's in case the Acura dealers they go to aren't so understanding.

A word of warning... I backed into a garbage can at work a few months ago, dented the back deck and shattered the wing. (00 - PY ITR).
I took it to Ferman Acura in Tampa thinking the dealer would be able to
get the parts faster and they ended up painting the rear end of my car 10 times. I would come in, laugh at the paint job and leave. This became so annoying that they could not match the Phoenix Yellow properly that they ended up giving me a rental car for two weeks and paid me $1000 so that I would take it somewhere else. If you live in Tampa, avoid FERMAN at all costs.. And hope to hell that wherever you take it they can match that Yellow!

JC, how fast were you backing up?
a similar situation to mattlehrer, I rand over a curb and ended up needing my hood, fender, and door repainted ... my dealer doesn't have a body shop and the one I took it to had paint it three times (#1. Pheonix Orange, #2. a zillion fisheyes, #3 decent but...), and I need to go back for a fourth for blistering... good thing I went w/ the shop that the insurance recommended cuz if the body shop gives me grief, the insurance has to warranty it ... it's just such a pain tho.

I was mad at my boss for some reason and I wasn't looking behind my car where they had put one of those semi sized dumpsters. I backed into the corner of it so it creased by back deck and shattered the part of the wing that I hit. I was going about 10mph. The paint still doesn't match, but I am so pissed over it I don't think I am going to go anywhere else till something else happens..
