type r or 1st gen b16a turbo???
i own a 92 integra ls i have had a ls vetec with a gude head package on it and b16a pistons i was allways running into problems with it so i changed the head to the stock ls and put a garrett t3/t4 on i used a apexi safc and 450cc inj. I have allso ran into many aoff problems with it as well i think i recently fried the rings or pistons or both, so i pulled that hole motor out and i bought a 1st gen b16a and i dont no wether or not to put the b16 in and put the turbo on or just say the hell with it and buy a type r, because i need a reliably car, my freins all have turbos as well and i know problems come along with having a turbo but a would still like to have a decent fast car for street, so iam stuck i dont no what the hell to do, and if anyone has a type r motor in a 90-93 integra can u tell me your et times i would be happy with a low 14sec car for now......please help me and give me your advice THANKS
When you say "buy a typeR" do you mean just the motor?
If you have the funds, just go with a R swap. It'll be a fun little car.
Turbos are for rednecks in NC....
