Busa..... 1800
Sorry, inside joke with a member of this board.
Anyway, new to the board but just thought I'd share my two current bikes of lust.
I have owned/ridden several different bikes and I'm constantly changes rides. At this time I can't afford to change but up until about two months ago I was seriously planning my next move. Then my wife had some surprise medical issues and without health insurance I have to get some bills taken care of before I can do the change.
At any rate, the two bikes I'm currently looking at are so very different from one another thats I often get made fun of when I bring them up as competing for my heart.
I'm a Honda man at heart but Honda doesn't currently make a bike that I'm interested in owning at the moment. Sure, I drool over the new 600rr but thats not the style of bike I want right now. Sure I love the XX but it costs more than another company's bike that stomps the XX in every category. Sure I love the Varedero but Honda doesn't see fit to import it. Thus, I'm left to buy Suzuki.
My riding style varies wildly. One day I'm out carving corners on my SV. The next I'm on my Connie on an S/T trip to somewhere distant for the weekend.
This is where I run into my difficulty choosing a bike. I'm currently looking at (leaning more towards touring with sporting ability) a DL1000 V-Strom.
No, that is not me on the bike in this picture. However, this is the color and set up just like I would order one.
I could also use this bike comfortably on several of the gravel roads around here that my SV is so nervous on.
The other bike I'm currently looking at VERY hard (leaning more towards sport than touring) is this.
Decisions decisions. I'm hoping to get my payment plans set up with the two seperate hospitals soon and I'm also hoping that my new job comes through. If everything works out I can be on a new set of wheels by mid-summer.
This is of course if I sell my two current bikes.
BTW, this is my two current rides.
My old bikes...
HAYDEN RULES!!!!
The cruiser in this picture was mine.

Did you see what I currently ride? Two totally different bikes. Have you seen what I've previously owned? Quite a difference there as well.
I like all styles of riding and all styles of bike. Old, new, classic styling, ultra modern.
Thats where the problem comes from. To be perfectly happy I'd have to own 5 different bikes.
In no particular order...
600rr (Honda)
Busa
V-Strom
SV-650 (current not new version)
SV-1000 (naked not S model)
I'd be happy with the Busa and the Strom for now but I can't afford both (either really at the moment) so I'll have to settle on one.

BTW, just so you know... its V-sTRom not V-sTOrm.
Common mistake made by those not familiar with the Strom. V being twin and Strom being german for strong wind or something along those lines.
I can think of a few names better myself but I doubt they'll listen to me. LOL
