i just found out yesterday that my brother had a LS throttlebody off a 92 (i believe) integra.... and its a lil bit bigger then the stock throttlebody prob by 10 mm..... i was wondering if i port matched the intake manifold to the TB if it would make a noticeable diffrence, or a good amount of power gain even if not noticeable.... like say on a Dyno..... ??? thanks

 

a b18a TB is 58mm and a b18b TB is 60mm. all d series are 56 mm so even if you got a b18b its only 4mm bigger not 10mm. it will not add a lot of hp but will help with throttle response. you notice it more if you have a other mods I /H/E, cam , headwork.

 

i got intake headers, cat, midpipe, and exhaut......... 1,000$ head work....... (cam, valves, retainers, etc... but no port and polish)

 

i put a vernier caliper up to the throttlebody and it was 63 mm.......
