i bought a JDM itr motor swap and it came with a vtec solenoid that only has one gray plug w/out the usual green plug found on the usdm vtec solenoid...i know that jdm vtec solenoid is contorlled by ecu....my Q is...how can i use this vtec solenoid with the USDM ECU? or i can't and i should just buy a USDM vtec solenoid ?(green plug with gray plug)

 

Just jump your solenoid vtec wire into your ECU (back block) oil pressure switch pin.

so i should run the oil pressure switch wire from the ECU to the back of the block's pressure switch pin? just want to makre sure dont want to mess my fren up...thanks

if you run a usdm ecu you would need the usdm vtec solenoid
if running the jdm ecu you can use the jdm one
