i jsut put my skunk2 intake manifold in my car and noticed that it whistles for a split second when i'm starting my accelleration
ANY ideas whats the cause

 

my car started doing that when i put an aem cai on, and my friends si started doing that when he put a type r intake manifold on his car. must be the increased air flow?

 

check for vacuum leaks too

 

i had that happen also when i put my aem cai on also. But it only happens at ceratin throttles. I could be anywhere in the powerband (any RPM) but between 20 and 40% throttle i get that whine/whistle whatever you want to call it. But it only happesn when i'm driving, not when i'm in neutral and rev the engine.

Dude its probably a pulley.

 

My skunk 2 whistles at idle. I checked for leaks. And nothing was wrong. Now I kind of like it.

what pulley i only have one and thats a altanator

 

i think its normal with the skunk2 manifold all my friend that have it got the whistle sound 2

 

it's normal and guess what intake i'm using? thats right aem cold air intake. whne it shoots down it whistles too. i can make it whistle to my girl.

I love it. My friend's car does this with the skunk2. If he's in gear, and presses on the throttle it's a constant whistle till he lets off. It's a supercharger y0!
