i was driving my car like normal and then it just shut off and wont start back up. i took out a spark plug and tested for spark but nothing happened. is it just the spark plugs or is it the distributor?? the plugs look pretty black but not quite dead. please give me advice asap! its my 18th!!!!

 

what did you do to test for spark?

 

what did i test? the spark plug when trying to start it. we like put it to metal but no spark

 

does your main relay turn on when you put the car on the ON switch?

 

yeah everything comes on its just when i try to start it, it just doesnt it like tries to i 4get the word.

 

yes it all turns on but it just doesnt start up. it tries to but doesnt. i dont remember the term for it??

 

ignitor!!! tahst what happened to me in my integra, i was just driving normal, and it shut off, and no spark!!

 

how much did it cost to get it fixed??

 

the ignitor is around $82.

 

thanks guys. i got it fixed now!! yeah! it was the ignitor, cap, and rotor!
