Default B17 swap info???

What does it take to put a B17A swap into a 91 DX hatch? I know I'll need a mount kit, but I'm really not sure of what to do on the wiring end. Do I just use all the stuff from the B17, and just use OBD-1? Or do I have to stay OBD-0?

I had my b17a put in a dx crx (I didnt do the work)....but...I stayed with obd0 and had a b16a ecu put in...you could run obd1 if you wanted to keep your b17 ecu...(I hear the b16 is a better ecu though)

So to run OBD-1 do I need to use the wire harness from the Integra or modify the one in the hatch?

to run OBD-1 in a 88-91 civic/crx u need a obd 0-1 jumper harness ( or u can rig it ) and u will need to modify ur existing harness thats on ur DX motor. Or u can find an SI harness and modify that one slightly. Integra harnesses will not work.

And where can I find instructions on how to modify my existing harness? or Si harness if I have to use that?

Alright, i got my jumper harness from a guy named Jesse in Washington. He sold one to me for 160$ shipped and it came with all the necessary conversion literature for converting an 88-91 civic/crx SI to OBD-1. So if u have a DX harness then u will have to convert to MPFI/Si model. EMAIL this guy >>>> jesse brittsan <jesse@urbanimports.org> He should set u up with all u need to know about the conversion.

I'm doing the same swap in the next couple of weeks.
I'm gonna get my OBD0 - OBD1 harness from "blown90hatch".
Do a search on his name everybody here his products.
And also do a search on "B17" and "Obd conversion"
Hope that helps.
