Default Took car to dyno tonight(bad luck)HELP

I just installed skunk 2 valvetrain and skunk 2 stage II cams, and gears. It ran fine. Then I took it to a shop to install the apexi vafc. I then took it to tune it, and when it reaches vtec it cuts out like it has a rev limiter or something. I cant push it past 5800 rpm's. Can anyone tell me what is wrong?

Thanks

sounds like you installed the vafc wrong. If you hook up the wrong wites, your vtec setting can actually be a rev-limit instead.

This happened to me with my vpac from JR.

you wired up your wire to vtec control solenoid incorrectly inbetween the ecu and Vafc, Check and rewire making sure you have the vtec wire going in and out of the vafc connected to the Ecu

Double check the wires/connection. Same thing happened to me when i installed my vafc. I installed it correct, but when i put the ECU cover back on, one of the connections came apart. When i revved up to about 7k, it just stopped pushing as though i was at the rev limiter
