Default Engine question

I have a 94 honda civic lx. It has a stock engine. I have been told to drop an h22 motor in my car, but it is expensive. I want my car to be faster. what else can i do to get at least 190 hp. If any one can help me out that would be great.

Theres enough parts out there that I could fill up an entire page about what you "could" do. Give a price range, it'll make figuring out the best horsepower-per-dollar things you can do.

dont leggo build a car, figure out a budget, then plan out you stages so all your parts will work together and you will acheive you goals...190 is a bit for a soch motor but it can be done, most likely youll have to go FI tho so good luck, and like the other kid said, give us budget and what not peace
