so it'll go right in without any modification at all? what about the b16 tranny will it bolt up or would it be better to go with a ctr lsd? thanks

I heard something about needing a GS-R or Type-R 5th gear and final drive to get it to work, but there's so much BS on message boards that it's hard to tell who's full of it or not. I guess the question to ask is: who actually has a Type-R LSD in a LS transmission? And what, if anything, was needed to get it to work?

i think you are correct. i know it will go into my gsr tranny no prob. however you will most likely need a final drive from a gsr or type r tranny
