over the last couple days i have ben hearing this ratteling noise fromunder my car. well a little bit ago i jacked the car up and when looking for loose things i hit the cat and it sounded liek there was stuff shaking inside. i haven't taken it off to chek to see if the heat sheild on the cat is loose, but it seem semi-tight from just looking at it and feeling it. i sis carsound cat that has been on the car since october 2001.

whould there be a light if the cat goes bad?

one more thing.
it will only make the noise after the car is hot. it isll not do it if it is just sitting.

well i took the cat off today.
seems that it may just be the heat sheild.
I just ripped it the rest of teh way off.
how important is it to have the heatsheld on?

while it was off i reved the car up man does the car sound mean and loud straight from the header.
