my idle bounces up and down when the car is cold for about 5 min, then it goes normal. what do you guys think. i have no cel. i also have a brake pressure problem because i am losing pressure but i have no leaks and the master cylinder appears to be ok. i was told that the idle issue could be affecting the master cylinder if there is a iac problem. what u guys think

 

maybe a loose vacuum line or your FIV is going bad.

 

the fast idle valve is completely separate from the iac isnt it?

 

same issue man, start it up or put it in park when cold and it revs like a renob. my vacuum hose was just flopping around under there. i must have cut it when installing my CAI. So I T-Piped it to my CAI outlet and my car hauls bauls.

 

what hose are u talking about? are you talking about the one that goes from the top of the valve cover to the cai pipe?
