If one were to measure in oz-inches or even ft-lbs how much torque would it take to turn the dial on the KYB's? I'm asking because I'm looking at the feasability of making a small stepper motor controller for them. I'd go buy a set for my teg but I want adjustability from inside the car, so I need to know how powerful of stepper motors to buy, and how to control it without a pc.

Doesn't the AGX have to be pushed in, then turned? I think so, last time I adjusted mine, I think it had to. Would add some complexity but for it, that would becool.

 

yeah, it has to be pushed in. Almost no effort to turn it though. Probably less than 1lbs/ft.

 

uuuuhhhhh my kyb's dont need to be pushed in. you just turn them. thats cool that your gonna do that, but its really not that hard adjust them. neat idea though.

 

Mine need to be pushed in also, but I think they're fine is you just leave em pushed in. I know it's not hard to adjust them, but it'd be nice to be riding on the softest setting on the freeway, then when a nice long curved off ramp is up ahead, turn them up.
