Ok.. was tuning the motor with some friends today.. and we wanted to rev the motor up to 6000rpm+ when the car was on a stand still... And it cut gas on us at 5500prm.. does this happen to all RSX.. ?? Mine is a Type S.. can anyone help me.. is there something wrong with mine, or is it a safety feature.. if so, please explain..

k20A3 kills @ 6500 if the VSS is below 5ish mph......
K20A2 is around 5K ish also.

I am curious about driveline problems with anything over a 5500 launch,
is that because of the factory clutch?

HAHHAHHAHA.. Oh man I remember when I asked this very question like 1.5 years ago. I thought my brother broke my car, but later found out this was the normal rev limit when the car was not moving. hehe. It scared the hell out of me that night. Well glad you found out what it was bro, good luck.
