need help
My b18c motor is starting to act up note it is semi built, is tune, also been driving it for 5 month before this started happening and has a 8lbs fly wheel on it, flywheel was put on by last owner and I was told it was a 8lbs. The problem I'm having is when while I'm driving sometime seems like the motor just cuts off and speed starts to drop as I apply the gas nothing happens then I put it into nurture n Rev the motor and pop it back in gear and everything fine again also times when starting from a stop half way through the gear the motor jerks like if a noob was driving and the motor losses speed again and ill have to stop and rev the motor or baby the gas super soft to catch speed. My best guess it the flywheel but ill like to see what you guys think any help or theory can help need help asap!
Does it die off fast or slow. Example: does it shut off like a light switch or like a garden hose? You can not turn a light of slowly. Same as if you turn the water off a little will trickle out until it stops.
This will tell you if it is electrical or fuel.

Not necessary, a problem with the PGM-FI Main Relay, [electrical] could cut power to the injectors and fuel pump [electrical] but the result would be no fuel, [fuel related], the stall would be instant
However, if a problem with the PGM-FI Main Relay only cut power to the fuel pump, or the fuel pump itself had a problem, the stall would not be instant.
In the end, no matter what, the problem will be electrical, short of a blockage, like a plugged fuel filter or fuel linel, could even be mechanical, bad FPR, although that would be fuel related I guess.
We definatly need a lot more info, including how it stalls, "off like a light switch or like a garden hose".
With that said, we most likely agree it is not related to the "8lbs fly wheel on it". 94
