MSD ignition gains?
What exactly do you gain from having a MSD ignition??? I am currently running a MSD digital 6, msd coils, and msd wires from back when i was planning on goin with the nitrous route.. but now i am no longer interested in playin with no2.
I was planning on selling the digital 6 to fund the turbo kit and buying a more suitable ignition when i get the turbo kit, but anyways, for now will there be any noticeable loss of performance?

Don't expect any gains. Unless you are making over 200whp, the stock ignition is fine. The only improvement you may feel is a smoother idle. But no loss in performance if you sell it.
yeah I had it when I was all motor as well as turbo, All motor the ignition did absolutely nothing for me at that was at 196 to the wheels, but w/ turbo i needed it. hope that helps even though i just repeated what Gee3 said.
youre not goin to feel a power loss. if anything, the msd really works only if youre pushing a good amount of horsepower and you need the extra spark. the options the msd offers are cool... and youll notice smoother idles and acceleration.
msd is useless until your making over 250 hp. when i had it, it was no help at all. most people that boost are using stock ignition. just change your cap and rotor and necessary tune ups
