JDM Type-R cat?
300mm? Are you sure? That's only 11.81" and that's over 5.5" shorter than the USDM cat. Can someone please verify this with me. I'm not saying you're wrong I'd just like another person to verify this so I'm 100% sure. Thanks guys.

very different, on both ends. The 'O' end is larger (2.5")?, and the 3 bolt flange is odd.
The 3 bolt flange is very hard to find at local exhaust shops, luckily I found a shop that had one sitting around (after they searched for 30 minutes). They shortened my mid pipe and welded it on. 75$

Can you tell me the exact length of the JDM spec cat you just posted a picture of? Measure it from flange end to flange end. 12" or so, doesn't help enough. I need to know the exact length. Also, I know the diameter of the inlet is 2.5" but what is the diameter of the outlet? Thanks a lot! A
Just get something like a Spoon Cat Jack (or equivalent straight pipe) instead.
The JDM cat is smaller because their emissions requirements are lower and they have better (i.e. 100+ octane) gas in Japan.

I'd help you more, but it's on my car. I just put it back on with a new sealed gasket. I can measure the length tomarrow though..

for the ITR cat, are the inlet and outlet bigger than the normal LS and GSR ones?? if so, then i got ripped off cause i bought one from someone and it is sitting in my closet. if anyone wants it i'll sell it to ya for a fair price.
