ok i make my own harnesses to begin with. this is my second harness to make and my car does the same thing. im running a stock p28 on my 97 ex w/ the y8. ok heres the prob. the car runs great if you start it dead cold or fully warmed up, but if you start it half-way cooled down it takes like 10 seconds to start and then when it finally hits it sputters kinda bad, smokes, and wont idle. if i rev it to about 5k rpm and let it go it will stop smoking, idle and run fine. if i put the stock ecu back on it will crank up fine at the same time that the p28 would not crank it. it throws no codes and i know the light works b/c it has came on before and i have read codes from it. anyone have any suggestions on this? its like it doesnt have a map sensor or something for a few seconds?? thanks for any help on my problem.

edit: one thought i had was to move the o2 from the upper part of the header down towards the bottom where the stock z6 one is?? not sure
