First of all i know i probably shouldn't post this here but i'm not sure where else to post it. The reason i choose to post it here is because i used to have a prelude a few months ago. I'm wondering if anyone has any experience on a bm short shifter for a 96 Golf VR6. Let me know if you guys do.

 

Nope i sure don't. But i have a B&M short shifter on my 93 Prelude and i love it.

i used a b&m on a friend's integra..shifts felt like butter and short as all get out.

 

B&M is just an adaptor.

 

Yep, B&M is just an adapter, but the throws dropped an inch in length and i'm quite pleased with it. I wouldn't mind an actual replacement like the C's or 4bidden's but for free for my birthday ($40 - $60 new?), i'm more than pleased with it. The throws in the prelude are already short compared to a lotta rides, but with an adapter OR a TRUE short-shifter, its even better.

 

I guess that makes me super cool since I have a C's and a 4bidden, huh?

Truthfully, the C's dont have **** on me....the C's will be on eBay soon.

I haven't experienced either, so i don't know, but your short-shifter looks good to me

Yea, available through eBay. One starts/ends every Sunday. I sometimes sell outside of eBay, but mostly only to paid PO members.
