A friend's ITR was stolen this week....
A friend of mine named Kevin moved to Jersey City. They tried to get him at his house. He padlocked the gate. He thinks they followed his wife to work and took it there !!!!
Luckily she wasn't hurt.

Could've been much worse like a carjacking or something. It so sucks to hear another one is stolen but I'm glad nobody was hurt.

WTF? Do these scumbags ever get caught or what. You how much time people put into work just to pay for car+ins+upkeep. To have it stolen one day is complete BS! I would bring the smack down if I caught a theif in action.

Most likely not unfortunatly. When Evil Cetane lost his CW 98 we know who it was, how they did it, and that he's done it a ton but the police couldn't pin any of it on him and they were to lazy to pursue it because he lives in a different town than where it happened. He actually owns a 00 py and struts it around like nothing ever happened. If it's any consolation... his friend who got the motor and seats out of Evils car totaled the car it was in on the Super Street Tour 2 years ago... kind of ironic. Just goes to show you that life will always take care of the scum by itself so you can pretty much rest assured that whoever stole it will get theirs someday. Just glad, like everyone else that everyone's ok.

Not to be an ***, but do not be so naive. Bad guys often get away with **** and its good guys who get screwed in the end. Even if somehow by divine retribution, bad guys always got there's it still doesn't bring your R's back.
I don't know if its feasible but R owners need to lobby to law enforcement en masse. One or two guys complaining every couple of weeks/months about their R being stolen in various cities around the country is obviously not enough to make law enforcement take this epidemic seriously. Maybe its time for Integra owners as a group to start some sort of campaign to get law enforcement involved and seriously go after this black market.
At the very least, anytime anyone runs across something suspicious they should report to the proper authorities. I hadn't thought about it but at a car show I saw a guy with an LS, with Type-R interior, and what looked to be a B18C5 (red valve cover). He said it was a C5 but upon further inspection I found that it was a C1 from a sedan. My hunch is that he didn't know he had been scammed on his "Type-R" motor and that the interior was probably from a stolen car. Unfortunately I didn't think till after the fact about taking down the vin information and the number on the ITR badge.
My point is that if a group of people is being victimized, they need to as a group take a stand, unless they want to keep being victimized. Perhaps many would be content to think, "Damn that sucks that he got his R stolen. Hope it doesn't happen to me..." but every last one of you knows that it could happen to you.
Anyway, I hope I'm not being overly dramatic but I think all of you guys hear what I'm saying and would at least consider organizing group action.

i agree with JMU R1. something should be done, but its hard to get organized. in some areas, it should be easy. i know where i am, there about 11-12 itr owners but we all kinda live in opposite directions.
