Darn OEM Radiator!!!
Has anyone on this board experienced trouble with the OEM radiator? Anyone with a 98' ITR?
My first radiator started leakin' and I had the Acura dealer warranty it and replace it with a new one. They told me that it was cracked at the bottom! That was in November of last year!
I get home today around noon and I smell coolant........so I open the hood and before I could even look under the car the radiator is just leakin like crazy in two places! WTF?
So I'm like "here I go again", I take it to the same local dealer and they verify that it's leakin'(duh!) and I make an appointment to have it repaired!
Anybody have any ideas what might be the culprit? Could they just be defective or could it be somethin' from the road? By the way I never had this problem until I took off that rubber piece that's like right under the radiator!
HMMMMM, I wonder? Any ideas, fellas?

Yes I've heard of this happening before. The car was a 98, it was a guy in Montreal from an old mailing list I was on. I remember him complaining that it took a long time to get it from Japan, as the radidator is a smaller/lighter version than the one in other Integras.
Take it for what it's worth.
