Is there any way you could get better pics. They are too dark, I can't make out anything besides the first pic.

I just borrowed a friends Digi-cam last night. Thats as light as i could get em with my editing software. The dark pics are just ones of the dome, and the bottom-end

Did you have a blockguard put in? Just doesn't look like a stock block in the 1st pic

I agree with sgT and Shark Tank but then again besides the cooling issues I just HATE blockguards... Your motor will be perfectly fine without it... I would also think about reconsidering cams... I've seen/built this setup many times and I personally like the JUN3's the best (tried: Toda B's, SK2st2's, Crower st2's) ... With 310-370cc injectors and even a simple S200 system you'll should easily pull off 210whp+... Let us know how it goes...

210 with that setup will be cake.

What kind of cash are you looking at for the build so far? Any machine work?

My project starts this summer - not shooting for 210 with mine, but 200 would be gravy.

So you all recomend no blockgaurd? Ive shaved off some parts of it to give it a little more cooling hopefully. Its just a little more reasuring for me to have it in there.

And about the cams... I DEFFINATLY plan on gettin bigger cams along with a 4.7 to go in the tranny. But funds are runnin low as hell now, The setup has cost me around $2g's, and thats with me using parts from my blown up B16. I got the tranny in a real good deal, I traded my GSR tranny+$400 to a guy that was goin turbo.

The only machine work ive gotten done is the hone, and i have to take the head to get portmatched and the valvetrain installed.

Thanks for all the compliments, And to whomever thinks i can run 12's. IM me and tell me of anyone you know that has ran that with a similar setup

PS: does anyone know if an 89 B16 head ran smaller valves than a 00 B16? I head the 89 were .20 smaller. I dunno if thats true though
