100 blaupunkt vs 600 rockwood

have 100 rms goin to my subs now, and its loud enough!
now, im thinking of using a '600w' rockwood 4 channel and bridging it on my comp vr's...
it cant get any WORSE right?
i mean 100 watts rms from a blaupunkt...would this sound louder than a 600w rockwood?
i know rockwood is cheap but the owner wants the blaupunkt back and i have the rockwood sitting around....
any comments? the 100 watts was more than enough bass for me and maybe later id run some mids on it, i can get a better amp anytime in the near future, just need to know that it will sound louder, or at least not lower....

no expirence from rockwood, but if its anything like lanzar etc then the 600 watt rating is prob MAX meaning take 1/3 of it and a grain of salt (because even that value will be overrated and prob at 14v) to get close to rms.
To me, there is only *one* solution for you right now.
If you have to give the blaupunkt back..and u have an amp sitting around, there is no way in hell I want you driving without bass! Throw the rockwood in, and keep the gains low, try not to use any built in bass enhancement / boosts to get the sound "as loud" as the balupunkt if the amp isn't very good, doing so will make it sound "loud" but it'll be distorted as hell and will blow your subs in the end.
Just take care, and use common sense. A free amp, is a free amp
When you get a good deal on a new one, buy it!

600 / 3 = 200 watts

600W 4 channel rockwood that would be 150w per channel /3 50w? Bridge a rockwood is that even possible? For a good laugh open that amplifier take a picture and post it.
