Stock cams own with the JRSC. There has been test after test after test and stock cams still put down the highest numbers.

Any kind of cams on a B18A/B(LS) engine are better than stock. Have fun!

Nope, mine is the only one that matters.

stock cams are the best. I had type R cams and didn't pull as hard as the GSR cams

I wouldn't trust anyone whose CRX traps 120 mph on an LS platform spinning all the way down the track. Just avoid the Type-R cams like the other poster suggested, it's best to run auto B16A1 cams with high mileage worn down lobes if you can find them.

Stock cams with the Jackson are best.

Even though there hasn't been much testing done with this, anyone who has worked with positive displacement blowers will tell you that they take very well to cams with a slightly higher lift but longer duration than the stock ones. They also do not like overlap.

Unless you have money to test out different cams, go with a set of adjustable cam gears and dial out your overlap. The next option is to add the M62 blower to your setup. The gains will be much higher with an M62, than if you were to run the M45 and cams.

Yeah but where do you get a M62 blower by it's self without buying a completely new kit along with it?

They are pretty cheap. Most of the M62's off of Mercs and GMs I see go for $150-250. Nobody wants the hassle of having to fab a belt drive system, so they get ignored.

They are more fluent in domestic circles... hint hint.

where do you see the blowers for that price?

i have adj cam gears already. so with my stock cams, should i advance the intake cam and retard the exhuast cam?

Yeah but I thought that we couldn't use those. I had heard that the ones made for our honda engines had to spin in the opposite direction as the rest of the car world?

thats what i've heard as well. its part of the reason that we cant upgrade to the M90 (besides the clearance issues). something about moss motors (jackson racing) holds the patent or the rights to the opposite-spinning direction.

That is correct information on the M62 for the Hondas being counter-rotating.

I also encourage you to try different cam setups until you find for yourself what works. If you are a hybrid with VTEC head try the GSR intake and Type R exhaust, worked really well for me engaging VTEC at 2800rpm.

Good luck.
