i bought my turbo kit (drag gen3) on ebay 4 MONTHS AGO! and ive only recieved a very small part of it so far because the people i bought it from are waiting for ONE LAST PIECE, my manifold! now ive gone to drags website, ive visited my local shop who order from drag, they say the average time to get a kit is 2-3 weeks, im going more than four months here! does anyone have any ideas as to why its taking drag 4 months to make my kit?
ps. ive researched the company through bbb, they are a real company, ive talked
to them many times, they only tell me 'no were still waiting for the manifold'
pps. they upgraded me to a gen4, i know gen4 is just for preludes, but they say
that the gen4 only came out first for preludes but now its coming out for other
cars
ppps. the company is modiparts.com, i bought it through emilia pamelar

if any of you order from drag or are drag retailers maybe you would know why this is taking so long, but this is really frustrating me i want my kit, and i want it on my car. its all i ever think about is when im going to get my kit, any info/answers would be greatly appreciated.

 

why dont you order a max rev or inline pro manifold and than sell the drag one when it comes in.

 

hmm...thats pretty good. well see, i would really just like the drag one you know, so i dont have to go through the hassle of selling it. next time i talk to them ill mention something like that. i just emailed them saying id take the rest of my kit + $400 for a manifold from somewhere else.

is anyone here an official drag represenative or do business with drag directly? maybe you could shed some light on why its taking 4+ months to make my kit. i ordered/payed on dec. 22! thanks for the replies.

 

sounds like you getting bent over dude!!! i would have asked for my money back like 3.5 months ago....sorry to hear about that.

 

You should have received your turbo kit by the first week of January. We stock most kits but when a kit isn't in stock, it takes about one week to get them in. It helps that we're only 5 minutes from DRAG and they deliver weekly.
