Default BEST way to drill a hole in the fire wall....and What oil do you use?

i have my lines for my gauges running threw my hood release thing, but i want to drill a hole in my fire wall so i won't need 30000ft of wire...don't ask i just want to

should i just get a drill and drill away or what? my one friend messed up his intake manifold trying to drill a hole.....


and what oil do u use in the summer?

Have a friend watch the other side of the firewall while you drill, make sure your path is free of wires n such before starting to drill.

go to a hardware store an dbuy grommets also.this way no rain gets inside

there should be a rubber grommet on the passenger side about half way down on the fire wall, if thats not there just follow the engine harness to the firewall, poke a hole in the grommet and run the wires through there.

i run mobil 1 synthetic 10w30 all year round (i live in cali)
