How JDM sized do you have to be to fit in a Mugen S1?

I'm 5'10, 180lbs, 36" waist, will I fit?

hehe....title didnt sound too right

you'd have to be a medium sized individual.., if your a heavy set guy i dont think i'd bother.

generally the jdm guys are smaller than the usdm guys...

 

I am the exact same size you are and I do not fit. Well I can sit in it, but its very tight.

I would look for something else.

Sorry, you won't fit comfortably. You'll need to be at most 34" waist and weigh 170lbs and light build.

Your a 36" waist... holy... you better go on a JDM class diet.

One time in Japan, I wedged myself into a Bride Zeta II (similar size to the S1) and had to have help to remove myself from it, quite embarassing

You might want to look into the Bride Zeta II L which is made for larger folk

I'm 5'11' 1/2 255 lbs and I fit perfectly in my Mugen S1. I have a 38 in. waist and I can sit all the way back in the seat with no problem.

Didn't meet Lloyd. Saw a CW ITR with a King motorsports banner parked near the King trailer at the Expo, it was equipped with 2 Mugen S1 seats! I wanted to try them out, however the owner of the car was not around.

That sounds like MugenMike's ITR.

 

mugen s1 is WIIDE compared to Bride Zeta II, definately not a seat for the people with junk in the trunk

 

I am 187 lbs, 5'11", with a 34" waist and I fit pretty snug. Not unconfortable at all.

That was Ausmith's car. I'm 5'8" and 135, 32. The seats were amazing
ITRBroham: MugenMikes has recaros I believe, also very comfortable seats, although not quite as fitting as the Mugen.

i have a 32inch waist...

i sat in Wes' (white dragon) S1 at the expo, i also sat in christian's recaro spg, and the spoom ITR's spoom seats...

in order of comfort, i rank them:

1) spoom's (too bad they are expensive like a ****)
2) spg ( the most cost effective of the 3)
3) S1 ( best covering and fabric of the 3)

i am buying the spg

gotta love those bucket seats... i've got a cobra imola 2, i'm a size 32-33 waist, and it's a snug fit on me. my brother (size 36-38) tried to sit in it while it was sitting on the garage floor waiting to be put in, tried to stand up out of it... and took the seat with him! haha

Saw you on the track in the ADV group you were very quick!

 

I'm 5'8" 160-165, 32-33" waist, and I fit, but not by much.

 

I'm 6' and about 184ish.. 33'' waist... I fit pretty snug in Clayton's S1, but mostly through the back and shoulder area.

Sparco EVO gets my vote.

 

is that why you had to sell yours?

i'm 6'0" (ok, 5' 11.25" damnit, but i'm 6' with shoes!), 190lbs (weightlifter build), 35" waist, and 12". i fit perfectly in my sparco evo.
