Default question for bridging / 4 channel amp

I found a rockford fosgate amp (Power 551X) http://www.sounddomain.com/sku/ROC551X

Now I was wondering. Will this be substantial enough to run my JL 12w6. The woofer needs 300 rms. The specs on the amp are RMS Power: 70W x 4 and Bridged RMS Power: 275W x 2. I want to power my tweeters and my subwoofer. Does the specs mean I can run say 300 to 400 watts on the woofer and the remainder to the tweeters? Any links to explain basics of amplifiers would be appricated.
