Default OBD1 to OBD2

I'm thinking of going OBD1 i've got a 97lx i know they sell conversion harness but how hard is this swap and what where your problems?
O yea where did you get your ecu and what ecu is it.

It wont work properly. There are other things different in the 5th Gens other than the ECU. Trust me I attempted it, and was very disappointed when the car barely ran.

i believe you only need to change 3 things. one being the crank position sensor (i think)

OBD2 have a crank sensor and a cylinder position sensor that read off the crank and OBD1 do not.
