Aluminum Retainer question - Anyone have experience with them?

For the Toda Vtec killer install... yes.
Alu = supa bling.

Never really seen them in use, but they've been around: Ferrea does make 'em for Hondas and a host of other applications.
They aren't exactly slouches making thrill seeker born to lose parts either.
But, I would stick with either stock (steel) or Ti retainers only because it makes more sense from a materials properties standpoint.

didn't know they were making aluminum retainers. the plastic ones i had many years ago made my teeth hurt so i stopped wearing them. maybe the aluminum ones are more comfortable. who knows....just my 2 cents.

the experience (with them) will be short-lived, at best. when used properly they are good for about an average day's/night's worth of runs at the strip.
