Where can I find info on performance for my new integra?

 

I am used to mustang 5.0 and 2.3 performance, but this is a new beast. I've searched for info on the web, but can't find anything older than 94. What's available? I've heard honda/Acura performance is killer, and would like to expand my experiences. Thanks in advance for your thoughts and assistance.

 

depends on what you looking for check with Hasport for mount kit to drop in any b-series motor...

other then that, intakes, headers, exhaust are still made...

also its not exactly the best car to modify as far as motor suspension but can be done...

 

The car already has a K&N filter system on it, and everything else is stock. I was interrested in better cams, timing tricks, performance chips, exhaust performance (w/o the "wet fart in a bathtub sound" if possible.), suspension improvements (mainly stiffening), etc. I'm looking mainly for parts houses.

 

I used to have an 87 Teg (parts kept breaking so I sold it) and I know how hard it is to find bolt on performance. I would recommend a hybred swap if you want to be competitive but if you want to keep that D16A (I think that's the engine) most of the work you do will have to be custom or non-mainstream products. HKS may still make their mega flow filter for it and DC sports may still make a 4-2-1 header as well but I haven't checked for '87 teg parts in a long time. As for an exhaust you will have to go custom. HKS was the last company I knew of that made a exhaust for your car and they discontinued it about 3 years ago. I used a Borla 2 1/4" universal muffler and it worked fine. I never dynoed it or had anything other then the stock setup to compare it to but I can say it sounded nice.

Before you do anything ask your self what you want to do with your car? If you're going to autoX it then do suspension first. ground-controll.com can help you there. Also, I think DC sports may still make tower bars for your teg but if you ask me DC makes crap.

where the hell are the front springs?

 

Ha ha... no front springs on those. It's got torsion bars instead like the 1g CRX's that it's based off.
