Default Another suspension question...

welp, as you can tell, im new, so we'll start with hi! Anyway, I've got a 94DX 5spd with about 120k on it that i just got a few weeks ago and im going to go nuts on it in the next week with oil, fuel/air/oil filter, valve adjustment, dist cap/rotor, plugs/wires, flush/fill radiator and tranny....just to make sure its all up to par. Anyway, I figured its time to do something about the susp too. Its stock as far as I can tell and it drives like a wet noodle (alot of roll and not inspiring at high speed). I want to stiffen it up without lowering it too much (i dont care about the look) bc its a daily driver and i dont want a really harsh ride. After searching the board, it seems the AGX's are the way to go, but i was considering the pro-kit or the neuspeed sofsports for a minimal drop but still increase performance. What do you guys think about either one of these setups? and would it be overwhealmingly better handling if i just went with a more aggressive drop, a la neuspeed sports? Also, any other reasonable recommendations (ie, im a college $tudent) to stiffen things up would be helpful....Thanks in advance....

hi, welcome.

the AGX's and Pro kit would be a good combo and not too expensive.

also, you can get a cheap strut tower bar off of ebay, a front would be good enough, i think.

put it on air=air bags? that's good for show, not cornering as far as i know.

tokico blues is fine for it price but you'll be happy with agx or koni

Ground Control=
just go around and ask, most of the shop will not recommend it.
it's not a real coilover.

went you try to do something, do it right the first time save you alot of money.
eibach and h&r make some good springs.

eibach w/ agx will be serve you well for that kind of money spent.

I running Tockico Illuminas with an Eibach Pro-Kit. The ride is great, especially considering the increase in handling you get.
