Default Possible Issues with vtec actuation on mini-me HELP!

Hey Guys,

I have bought most of the parts for my mini-me swap. I ended up getting a P28 ECU modded by Dinan. I am wondering if vtec will actuate via the ECU? Will I have to wire up anything else?

Thanks

Gonna have to do a OBD0 to OBD 1 conversion. Run wire for V-tec and xtra wires on 02 sensor into the engine bay, but yes vtec will be handled by the ECU....

I have a Dinan chipped P28 running my B17A. The Vtec kicks in at 5000 rpm.

I was using the stock P61 to run my B17. The rev limiter kicked in at 7800 with a Vtec engaugement of 5700. I did not like the P61 at all. The Dinan P28, on the other hand, idled a little lower and seemed to give me a lot better gas milage. The Vtec function on the B17 is awsome. It pulls unbeliveably hard from 5000 -8200 rpms. I was impressed with it. Over all the ECU function was a lot smoother.
