Default supercharger vs turbo

hello fellas. just to clear up a lil discussion imo. i got a sc my friend has drag turbo. we raced on the streets up to 100. i beat him. on freeway going 100+ hell pull on me haha. imo i think its better to go sc since most of us drive on streets more than freeways dont u think? but since the jrsc dont have blow off valve id wana get turbo haha. let me know wut u guys think as i already know this has been discussed millions of times.

super chargers have no lag. your constantly running boost. turbos have lag. but you can generaly boost more with them. thats probably why you had a problem with his turbo on the freeway.... turbos run off exhaust gasses, there is no lag on a freeway.

Depends on where you want the power. . . low end or high end.

when you shift with turbo, dont let off the gas so you can keep the boost going. otherwise you get the turbo lag because you have to build up exhaust again. Thats how i ran a 14.98 in my friends stock 97 GST eclipse.

yeah, i'd race my friend in his turboed teg in my jrsc'ed prelude, and to about 70ish mph i'd be ahead then after that, he'll pull on me and pass me up and i just lost the race. for around town, the jrsc is a big help with the extra low end. though it could definately use more in the higher rpm ranges like with a turbo.

i prefer turbo, you can make alot more power, you just have to get a turbo sized right that makes good power longer, the turbo i have right now actually has more low end power than high end power, i want one that make more high end power, b/c, hell, it's a Honda, and that's where they are supposed ot make the power anyways, plus is a Prelude, so i've already whopped all other Hondas asses on torque
