Well, she finally did it. A girl I used to work with has turned in her '00 PY ITR. Not sure of the miles but it's not alot and they are mostly highway miles. The car was babied for the entire 3 years, not one single mod ever done, and she soooo hated that the stock tires wore out so fast that she bought 60,000 passenger tires as replacements!!!

It's up at Scottsdale Acura on Scottsdale Rd. and Loop 101 for about $21000 I believe (if it's still there )

Just wanted to give you guys a heads up.

i don't know if this is her -- a girl in a yellow R with altezzas revved on me when i was driving down shea to pick up my girlfriend. either way, i was amused...

 

i was there this past weekend picking up my wife's rxs from tint. did she smoke? 'cause i smelled a hint of cigarettes... they put a air freshener in it. it also doesn't have a # on type r plate. also on the passenger side there is small type r decal where the big one should go(looks like the rear decal) what up with that?. it has about 32k miles on it. it's not bad, but i'd hold out for another one. it's not as clean as my 2001 PY #83 when i sold it!

The decal is probably different because I think that's the side she got hit. Not in an accident, mind you, but some drunk/crazy bitch in a parking lot decided to go on a demolition derby and hit about 10 parked cars!!

And btw, I was just there this morning after I made this post and passed some young kid leaving the dealership in it. Too late guys, sorry.

I know who you're talking about. Her dad is rich and she gets all the trendy cars. From what I remember she had a GSR, then Type R, then IS300, M3, and now a truck.

 

It's no longer on McDowell. The old lot is now an exotic car dealer.

Im in Australia now now but when i lived in scottsdale round Greenway + 56th back in 97-98 I never saw anyone runnin a type R Let alone that gear grinder

Isn't this also the R that was keyed on over half the car's body? I wonder if the dealer mentioned any of this to the kid who bought it...
