NSX 3.0 into a 2000 EK Si
I've heard of some people swapping the Acura NSX 3.0 engines into the Civic Si. I was wondering if any of yall had any information on that swap or where I can find information on that swap. I can get the engine and all the components but i need to know how to go through the process of: installation, wiring, and modifications. Any info. would be great. Thanks.
to answer your question, it's possible BUT there's going to be some serious modification into the frame to make it work. but hey as long as you have money anything is possible. on another note why the NSX engine in a si? I don't know where you live but in cali you can't put a rear wheel drive engine into a FWD car because it's illegal. also I've seen a fwd nsx powered car(signal auto) but they were designed for the track only.
sounds like a very interesting swap. but its probably one of those swaps were they end up spending tones of cash and there is always problems with , like about the axles you mentioned. i have seen on tv a civic with a jet engine and an afterburner on TV, now thats wierd. That swap,(I guess its a swap) practically makes anything possible, but dont under estimate how much mags express how simplictic some swaps are. Some of their titles make the swap seem to practical when they're not. But if you have the cash and time, lets see it happen
