Basically I've been talkin to my parents, and they probably will help me get an R b/c I got my shrink to tell them cars are an extension of my personality and my civic is not enough of a car...haha, I feel kinda guitly, but I want an R and my friends at high school will hate me forever cuz I'll be picking up their girls every night...but I degress...I saw this car on ebay and emailed the guy, and he said that he could register it in his state if I threw him some extra loot, but I was wondering since I have a choice between any USDM R and then this JDM one which one I should go with....I have no problems with it being RHD or anything....And I like the seats, headlights, all the JDM stuff and ****, but is it a bad idea if this guy does get it registered and I pick it up for 16K? I'm juss wondering cuz whatever car I end up gettting, I will be stuck with until I can afford another car....Which is not going to be for a long, long time cuz I'm a high school senior going to college in the fall....But anyway, let me know what you guys think!

honestly, That car is not worth no 15grand.
1st off...that car prolly has alot mile or km's on it..being its a little old.
second..it will be hell getting that car registered and legit to drive on the streets.
better off just buy a legal USDM type R..

I've seen that car for sale maybe 3 different times on ebay. How do I know??? Cuz I was actually thinking of buying one for the hell of it, considering my car is payed off.
Just stick the the USDM R, or if you want a JDM one, find a newer one.

Seller sounds shady. Drive one before you buy one. Don't be someone that buys this car so they can pick up chicks and brag. Buy it for the right reasons.

Get pissed if you want, but high school driver + ITR usually = one less ITR on the road within a few weeks. It really isn't a good beginner car, nor is it one that should be left around high school parking lots for the purpose of "picking up their girls." I'm sure you'll have a snappy response to this, so flame away......

Why do people insist that RHD is so cool?
I just wrote a story on the insanely high rates of death for left-handed people in auto accidents. This occurs because they are driving cars suited for right-handed people. If you want specific figures, I can get them for you.
You are putting yourself at risk by driving a RHD car in the states. I don't even feel comfortable sitting in one when it's parked; I don't know why anyone in their right mind would want one. I guess it's JDM though, so...

I will never buy a car without first driving it. Even if it may looks nice and so forth online but to me, buying a car online is just plain stupid. You can't just go on the seller's word/
I really think you shold consider another car before you get an itr.A good beginner car for you is 99-00 honda si.There is all kinds of good benefits of owning a car like that. You find that it would be cheaper to own as far as car payments, insurance, and of course parts. You wont be pist if you wreck it or get it stolen the first couple weeks.Trust me there is plenty of reckless rookies like yourself that has just ruined their itrs. That's of course my 2 cents.
