Default obd0 pr3 compatible with obd0 d16y8?

im gonna be running a d16y8 in my car, and i have access to a b16a pr3, just wondering if i convert the d16y8 to obd0 will i be able to run the pr3 with it, with the non vtec si distributor>? any help is appreciated, this ecu will be used only for track use

you can run it, you will need to run the wires for the oil pressure sensor, vtec silonoid, 2nd o2 sensor and run a knock sensor or ground it. You can also run a Mugen N1 program that will disable everything except the V-tec silonoid but usually they have no rev limit. If you go thru all the work using the stock rom I would keep it in instead of having to swap pins back and forth....
